Mogwai Last night I got to see Mogwai perform here in Nashville. This show was very important to me for many reasons. Being gone most of the year, I miss almost every single band I wand to see live. Sure, I tour with great bands and great friends, but no bands like this. A handful of friends of mine happened to be home as well, so we all gathered and went together. My face is still hurting from smiling during their entire set. Also I should add, this was probably the loudest show I have ever attended; in the best way possible. Even being in a somewhat smaller venue, Exit/In; they sounded unbelievable. I was close yet far enough to let the P.A. surround my ears and still be swamped by the low end of the subs. None of us realized it was the last day of their tour, as they announced how special last night was for them; making it even more special for us. Photo credit: Toni Francois
